Today at Tech we were completing our wood work so far I have nearly made my jewellery tree and hope to get it finished next , today I was drawing the shape that I wanted on the top of the jewellery tree then after that,on a piece of paper I wrote what I did to make the jewellery tree step by step.

Tech

This week was our first week back at tech for the whole class ,I was in Mr Grundy's class which did wood work .We are doing word works for three weeks .Today I was  starting on making a jewelry tree  and I hope to finish in couple of weeks ,but I was on a good start since Mr Grundy gave me a little help at starting the jewelry tree and gave some advice on how to how to measure our piece of our wood perfectly rather than making a mistake since this was my first time doing wood works.

'Agents of Change'

Today we were talking about how we were going to be 'Agents of Change' and how we will get there. I will be a 'Agent of Change' by being focused in learning time and sharing my ideas or opinion when working with a partner or when working in a group and participating in more learning activities in school and that now  I will do my best in participating in every school activity.

Kiwi Can /Integrity

This term we are learning about Integrity for our Topic at Kiwi Can.
Integrity is somebody that is trustworthy and that is able  to be honest at all times even though
they know they might get  in trouble. An example of this is taking the responsibility and owning up if you have made an mistake and being honest if you have found something that is not yours.I found learning about Integrity really interesting at Kiwi Can.

Problem Solving

This week as part of our problem solving Marieta and I have created a DLO based on one of our chosen problem. We are using place value to help us solve this problem. Click on our video to see how we solved it. Our equation was 677 + 371. To solve using place value you first add the ones, Then add the tens and lastly you add the tens. Once you have all the answers you add them all and the answer to that will be the answer to your problem

This week we were learning how to write a procedural text. A procedural text tells how to do something by telling you instructions in a simple way that is easy to follow. I have written an example to shows you how to move your work to your drive when using google docs.

You Will Need:

• Chromebook that is already charged

Steps:

1. Click on a new tab

2. Go on google drive

3. Click on New

4. Then click on Google Docs

5. Click on the little file on the top next to your title

6. Pick the file you are going to move your work to, then click on it, then it automatically goes in to your drive
