Maths Problem

This week for maths we were asked to come up with a menu for the whole week and we only had a $200 budget. We got into groups of 6 people, each from a diiferent maths group. We made a menu for the whole week, the menu included breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and any household equiptment we may need. Every one in our group had a role, like someone to add the prices .

One thing that was really hard for us was to not go overbudget, with preparing our menu.When we had done we had went through the menu again and made sure everything was how we had wanted it.

(Inquiry) Needs & Wants

This week in inquiry, we learnt about the wants, needs, service and products. To understand more about these words, in groups we created a DLO, showing the meanings of each of these words and some examples. A need is something that you required, like water, food and shelter, while a want is something you desire, but don't really need it. A product is a item that is bought which you can use and a service is when someone who works for others in return of money.
